Decorative Ceramic Fence and Gate Inserts 

A few years ago I was walking in a historic area of Pasadena, and came across a house with a few ceramic fence inserts. Researching these, I was not really able to find any information about these, or even who was still making them. I am currently working on several designs and will post them as I finish them. Quick and simple installation entails using horizontal or vertical threaded rods, that are hidden in grooves on the panel, and do not show in final installation. Panels are delivered ready to install .

As is evident in my other art forms, I am draw to animal and natural imagery and  inspired by the history of the great tile makers. I use various Cone 5 clays, and make strength a priority in my design choices.  I am currently testing out a variety of finishes (Matt and gloss).
